Scrapbooking Pets with a Scrapbooking Sketch

August 5, 2007 by Ellie

Blue Merle CollieScrapbooking pets is as important to many as scrapbooking family - because they are a much loved part of the family.

.

In this layout made using our Scrapbooking Sketch #5, Simone’s Blue Merle collie is waiting for some action. Blue doesn’t sit still for long despite a back problem that leaves him lame at times. His wonderful blue eyes shine out of these photos as he takes a breather between activities. I didn’t know dogs could have blue eyes … (I’m showing my ignorance, lol!)

In ‘Waiting for Some Action’ Simone used:

  • Papermania patterned papers
  • Card stock from the Paper Mill
  • American Tag Mini brads
  • Ribbon from Crafty Ribbons
  • a circle punch and mini stamps

If you used this scrapbooking sketch what would your variations be?

Remember a scrapbooking sketch is simply an idea to get your creative juices flowing. You do not have to use it exactly. Think of it as a springboard or a shortcut, or use one when you’re in a rush. And when you take one scrapbooking sketch and two scrapbookers, you’ll get entirely different results. In the next post we’ll show another variation on this scrapbooking sketch.

So when scrapbooking pets, cars, flowers, children or whatever, a sketch will help you finish all the sooner.
