Digital Papers made with Scrapbooking Sketch 44

January 13, 2011

I’ve taken a different tack with the recent scrapbooking sketch. Instead of making a layout, I’ve used the sketch as a base to make some digital papers.

In this month’s scrapbooking sketch we’ve continued with the mosaic layout style. We’ve gone for a fill-the-page look which leaves you free to decide where the title and journaling will go.

Scrapbooking Layout with Sketch 43: Enjoying the Sun

December 29, 2010

This scrapbooking layout is made with sketch 43 which was posted two weeks ago. I don’t know where the time has gone. Well, I do actually; I’ve been busy making Christmas gifts for the family.

The new scrapbooking sketch is a multi-photo layout. Use it with lots of Christmas photos; add interest with little bits of photos, patterned paper and embellishments.

Scrapbooking Gifts: Little Boy Collection

Buying scrapbooking gifts need not break the bank. Or perhaps you’re looking for inexpensive scrapbooking kit ideas for your own wishlist for family or friends to buy you!

Baby Scrapbooking Kits: A Gift Album

December 2, 2010

With a new baby due in the family soon I went looking to see what was currently on the market for baby scrapbooking kits. I always think there are at least two ways to give a scrapbooking album: make it myself; or give a kit as a gift album. Scrapbook Layout: Early Snow Fall

December 1, 2010

This scrapbook layout shows our early snow fall this year. The photographs show the garden bench and were taken in the morning, late afternoon and around 9.30 in the evening. You can see the layer of snow growing from just a couple of inches to higher than the arm of the bench.

I came across this lovely photograph and immediately saw a scrapbook layout for Light of the World, Advent 2010, in my mind’s eye.

Journaling Prompts: Letters to Santa

November 24, 2010

I remember faithfully writing my letters to Santa as a child. We had ‘real’ fires in those days, and my Mum used to light it in the fire and send it up the chimney to him. So we won’t find any to add to the scrapbooks for this journaling prompts challenge, lol!

Memory Book

November 23, 2010

Memories are precious, and especially of times spent together with family you may not see as often as you’d like because they are scattered around the country, or even around the world. Making a memory book of these occasions helps capture the moments to warm your heart when you miss them.
