Each month, along with a new scrapbooking sketch, we like to give you a sample of what you can do with it. This month’s layout sample is using sketch 23 the last sketch in our recent mini series.

We’ve softened the hard angles of paper strips and photographs with a circle embellishment highlighting the flower heads in the photos, and some ribbons around the edges.

These pretty little snowdrops are a sign of hope in the midst of winter, reminding us that new life is just around the corner.

The scrapbooking products used are Ephemera by Brandy Murry which has lovely muted colors and would also make great heritage layouts.

Journaling reads:

The first flowers to show their pretty little heads, usually while there is stll frost or snow on the ground. They are tiny and pure whilte with leaves that look like thick blades of grass. I am always delighted to see them. A wonderful reminder of God’s promise of new life when everything seems dead around us.

Thanks for looking. Hope this layout sample inspires you to try our scrapbooking sketch 23, or some of the others. Have a go and let us see what you make of it.
