I don’t know about you but I’m always looking for fun greetings cards ideas. With my Mother’s birthday in a couple of weeks, this purse card will be ideal.

A purse is great for a woman of any age. Well I mean, do you know one who is not happy to a get a new purse? *grin* Even little girls will love their own version.

Make this simple card for birthdays, Mother’s Day, or even just to drop a note to a friend. Put a gift card or a tea or coffee bag in it for a quick pick-me-up, or slip a little chocolate inside and you’ve got a quick gift, too. Well, I mean, who does not have a stuffed purse, lol?

Using textured cardstock stops it being too plain. Add a ribbon, string, shoelace or cord to make a handle, and, for this one, we added some mini pearls along the scallop border, a larger pearl as the ‘fastener’ and it’s ready to go.

Making greetings cards with your scrapbook supplies is a great way to use up your scraps of card and scrapbooking paper, and this purse card is no exception. I’ll post a template tomorrow.
