Baby Scrapbook Layout: On the Move

Sketch 32 sample WEB

This baby scrapbook layout uses our sketch #32 and some very cute little characters from  Bouncing Baby Girl scrapbook collection.

I loved this story from Isabella: She received an email from her daughter a few months back with a photo of her grand daughter lying across her cot, and the excited exclamation, “I didn’t put her down that way!”

A couple of hours later more photographs arrived showing her grand daughter had turned right round and was lying with her head at the bottom of the cot. The first indication that Emily Joy was on the move – when no one is looking, of course!

It’s so exciting when you first notice your baby start to move on her own. And Isabella, being the enthusiastic scrapbooker she is, knew this was one story that had to be scrapped.

I love how Isabella has turned some of the letters on her title, and added butterflies and little characters running along the bottom, all indicating movement and reflecting the baby’s movement. And did you notice the little teddy bear sitting on one of photos?

Isabella says she loves the Lifted Photos frames and doesn’t know what she’d do without them … and I heartily agree.

She also wanted a border around the layout so joined the corners and straight edges of the Brush Set: Inked Edges to make it, then saved it so she could use it again without having to make the whole thing again.

As I said at the beginning this baby scrapbook layout is soooo cute and recording such a momentous occasion for any mum – or grandma – when your little one first starts to move. If you like the idea then the link to the sketch is at the top of the page, if you prefer to see the ‘bare bones’. Have fun.
